The situation in the Middle East is becoming increasingly complex. America bombarded Iran for 7 hours. This is what US Army Central Command (CENTCOM) has said. They claimed that this operation was aimed mainly at Iran’s military bases. After this attack, US President Donald Trump threatened Tehran again. He said, “If the agreement is not fulfilled, their power plants and bridges will be attacked.”
According to CENTCOM, America started a new military operation in Iran from Tuesday night. This campaign lasted for 7 hours. Iran’s missile and drone depots around the ‘oil artery’ Strait of Hormuz are destroyed. A large number of Iranian naval armaments and coastal defenses were destroyed. Trump opened his mouth only after this terrible campaign of America. “If Tehran does not agree to a deal, their power plants and bridges will be attacked next week,” he warned. However, Tehran has made it clear that it will not yield to American pressure and will continue its strategy and control in the Strait of Hormuz. Notably, Iran’s Ministry of Health said that more than 260 people were injured in the US attack. However, it did not mention how many people were killed.
On the other hand, Iran also responded to the US attack. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps claimed they had retaliated by attacking US bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Jordan. They also claim that Iran’s military operations have damaged the US Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain and the Azraq Air Base in Jordan. However, Washington did not respond to Iran’s military campaign.
