One of the two-wheeler giants in the Indian automobile sector, Royal Enfield has launched the 2026 updated version of its most popular bike ‘Classic 350’ in India. The ex-showroom price of this new model starts at Rs 1.87 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.23 lakh for the top variant. The bike is available at Royal Enfield dealerships across the country from today.

The company has added some important and practical features keeping in mind the daily needs of the customers, without making any major changes to the original retro design of the bike.

What are the new updates??

The new 2026 Classic 350 mainly gets two major changes, which will be seen in all variants with Dual-Channel ABS.

  • Assist and Slipper Clutch: This will make it easier to press the clutch when driving in traffic and the rear wheel will not lock during sudden deceleration, making riding safer.
  • USB Type-C Fast Charging Port: The company has now provided an in-built Type-C fast charging port to charge the mobile while traveling or using navigation.

Engine and technical side

The bike uses the same 349 cc single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled J-series engine as before. This engine generates 20.2 bhp of power at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine has been kept as it was, without any other major changes.

Apart from this, no changes have been made in the bike’s chassis, suspension, braking system, 13-litre fuel tank and 170 mm ground clearance.

Features in the top model

Depending on the variant chosen, customers will get features like LED headlamps, LED pilot lamps, adjustable brake and clutch levers, gear position indicator and ‘Tripper Navigation Pod’, which displays turn-by-turn navigation through the Royal Enfield app. In June 2026, the company has registered a growth of 27% to sell a total of 1.14 lakh vehicles, with the Classic 350 accounting for the largest share.

Color and competition

Inspired by the Royal Enfield G2 bike of the 1950s, this classic 350 will be seen in the market with its vintage round fuel tank and retro look. Customers can purchase this bike in various attractive colors like Redditch Red, Halcyon Black, Madras Red, Jodhpur Blue, Medallion Bronze, Commando Sand, Gun Grey, Stealth Black and Emerald Green.

The bike sits between the ‘Bullet 350’ and the ‘Goan Classic 350’ in Royal Enfield’s portfolio. The bike directly competes with Honda CB350, Java 350 and Triumph Speed ​​T4 in the Indian market.
