Etawah/Ayodhya. Maulana Jarjis Ansari of Etawah, UP has been embroiled in controversy in the past due to his statements. Now another controversial statement of Maulana Jarjis Ansari has come to light. This statement of Jarjis Ansari is said to have been given in a meeting in Jharkhand on 23rd June. In this statement, Jarjis Ansari had called Lord Krishna a Muslim and a five-time namazi. Jarjis claimed that Lord Krishna preached Islam. Maulana also said that apart from Lord Krishna, Deen was also introduced by Lord Ram. Hindu saints and organizations are enraged by this statement of Jarjis. Mahamandaleshwar Vishnu Das has even announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for anyone who cuts the tongue of Maulana Jarjis.
Maulana Jarjis Ansari is accused of giving wrong meaning of the verse of Shrimadbhagvadgita during the speech. According to the viral video, Maulana Jarjis had said that if our brothers did not mind, Krishna ji also used to offer namaz five times a day. Jarjis further said that if you do not believe then see the 10th verse of the sixth chapter of Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta. Then Maulana Jarjis Ansari quoted the verse ‘Yogi Yunjeet Sattamatmanam Ekaki…’ and said that in this Krishna ji told Arjun that O Arjun, if you worship God then do yoga of the whole body. After this, Maulana Jarjis said – Yogi, not a person from Uttar Pradesh… do yoga of the whole body… that is, worship should not be done only while standing… but with the whole body.
Maulana Jarjis Ansari did not stop here. Maulana said that today you should convert to Hinduism… people will just raise their hands like this – Om Namah Shivay… the puja is over. He also said that this is not a matter of Hindus and Muslims. Maulana said that if they (Hindus) read their books… then he quoted CM Yogi Adityanath and said that Yogi ji becomes a big devotee of Ram… if they read their books, then believe me they will start loving Islam… because Islam is not only the religion of Muslims… it is their religion too…. It is believed that legal action may be taken against Maulana Jarjis Ansari who gave the controversial statement. Because he also misinterpreted the verse of Geeta. Besides, there is a possibility of communal tension due to his statement.
