The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results of the NEET UG re-examination. This time, 11.21 lakh students have qualified. A notable highlight of the NEET UG re-examination is that over 93 percent of the first-time test-takers have qualified. Furthermore, 99 percent of the toppers fall within the 17 to 19 age group.
Meanwhile, girls account for more than 58 percent of all qualified candidates. The qualification rate for girls is also higher than that for boys; 56.8 percent of the girls who appeared for the exam were declared qualified, whereas the figure stood at 55.1 percent for boys. Additionally, the top 138 ranked candidates hail from 66 cities across the country. The top 17 ranked candidates—who secured more than 705 marks—belong to Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana.
**How to view the scorecard**
Candidates who appeared for the Re-NEET UG exam on June 21 can view their scorecards by visiting the official website. To check the results, candidates must log in to the portal using their application number and password. Candidates can check their results on the NTA website: https://neet.nta.nic.in/.
**Deadline for fee refund extended**
Meanwhile, the agency has extended the deadline to July 31 for submitting bank account details to claim a refund of the fee paid for the May 3 examination. Candidates who appeared for the May 3 exam can submit their bank account details via the NTA's online facility to receive the refund of their examination fee.
**NTA's advice regarding counseling**
Counseling for the All-India Quota in MBBS/BDS courses is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), while counseling for the State Quota is handled by the respective state authorities. Candidates should rely solely on the official websites: http://neet.nta.nic.in, http://mcc.nic.in, and state counseling portals.
Candidates are advised to be cautious of fake calls, messages, or websites promising admission, seat blocking, or score improvement. The NTA does not contact candidates to ask for money or credentials (such as login details). Any suspicious communication can be reported to neetug2026@nta.ac.in or 011-40759000.
