Struggle continues for 19 days, Fatima expressed concern
Fatima wrote in her post that it has been 19 days since Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike, and the situation continues to be worrying. “We can’t wait for the government to start listening when it’s too late,” he said. Recalling the contribution of Sonam Wangchuk, the actress said that a person who has given so much to the country should not be forced to risk his health and life like this to get his basic demands met.
‘The future of students is above politics’
Expressing sympathy towards Sonam Wangchuk, Fatima has moved away from politics and made a humanitarian appeal. He stressed that no matter one’s political ideology, protecting the future of students should be the top priority at all costs. He said that it is really very sad to see Sonam Wangchuk in this condition and the whole country is concerned about her health.
