New Delhi. A technical problem suddenly surfaced on the social media platform Facebook on Sunday. Many users around the world complained of difficulty accessing accounts and using key features of the platform.
Problem from login to photo-video uploading
Users reported that there was a problem in logging in through the Facebook app and website. Apart from this, complaints about News Feed running slow or not working were also reported.
Some users faced problems uploading photos and videos as well as sending messages through the connected Messenger service.
Users resorted to other social media sites
Following the technical issue, many affected users took to other social media platforms like X to share their complaints. Facebook- hashtags also started trending during the outage.
Meta has not yet released an official statement
Facebook’s parent company Meta has not yet released any official information regarding the reasons for this technical problem. The company has also not told when all services will be completely restored.
