The fully indigenous orbital-class rocket ‘Vikram-1’ took off successfully from the first launch pad of the Satish Dhawan Space Center today at 12:08 PM.

This historic mission, named ‘Mission Arrival’, marks the beginning of a new era for the Indian private sector in space. This is the first orbital test flight mission of Hyderabad-based Skyroot Aerospace. The main objective of this mission is to place the Vikram-1 rocket into a low-Earth orbit of 450 km with a 60-degree inclination.
