Manchester City have opened an exclusive auction giving supporters the chance to bid for some of the legendary manager Pep Guardiola’s former office possessions.

The Premier League champions are putting up for auction a range of items from Guardiola’s workspace, offering a rare glimpse into the working environment and mindset of one of football’s most influential tacticians.

Guardiola stepped down from his role at City at the end of the previous season, concluding a remarkable ten-year spell during which he lifted 15 major trophies with the club.

The 55-year-old’s glittering collection includes six Premier League titles, three FA Cups, and the 2023 UEFA Champions League crown, when he famously guided City to an historic Treble.

Widely regarded as one of the most innovative figures in world football for nearly two decades, Guardiola is known for his tactical brilliance and intense personality, which have reshaped modern football.

Fans now have the opportunity to get a closer look at his world after Manchester City launched this special online auction. A portion of the proceeds will reportedly benefit the club’s charitable arm, City in the Community.

The digital auction platform features an interactive 360-degree virtual tour of Guardiola’s office, with all the featured memorabilia showcased for viewing and bidding.

Among the standout items is ‘Pep’s Note Collection’, comprising two pitch pads filled with Guardiola’s original tactical drawings and notes, accompanied by two pens and a notepad. As of 10 a.m. BST on Tuesday, the top bid had reached £641.

Another highly sought-after piece is Erling Haaland’s commemorative football, one of only three ever made, celebrating the Norwegian striker’s record-breaking achievement of 100 Premier League goals. Current bids are hovering around £5,000.

Supporters can also vie for several of Guardiola’s personal items, including his distinctive manager’s jacket, the whistle he used during training sessions, and a series of framed photographs and collages highlighting his managerial triumphs.

Some of the framed pictures show Guardiola celebrating trophy wins and posing with his coaching team. One particularly special display even includes a piece of the goal net from his final home game in charge — a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa on May 24.

For collectors seeking something more personal, there are several of Guardiola’s everyday office items on offer, such as his coffee cup set, incense collection, and a handful of small decorative trinkets — two miniature turtles, a pebble, and a painted star — along with his desk lamp. Each of these has already attracted bids well into three-figure sums. The auction will close at 4 p.m. BST on Sunday, July 26.

Guardiola has yet to announce his next managerial venture, though speculation continues to link him with a move into international football. Reports suggest he has held discussions about potentially becoming the next head coach of Italy.

At Manchester City, Guardiola has been succeeded by Enzo Maresca, the former Chelsea and Leicester City manager who previously served as part of City’s coaching team between 2020 and 2023.
