IMD Weather Forecast: Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan and Several Other States Likely to Witness Heavy Rain and Gusty Winds

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a fresh weather alert for July 22, warning of heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds across several parts of the country. According to the latest forecast, at least 14 states are expected to experience intense rain activity, with wind speeds reaching 50–60 kmph in some areas.

• An upper-air cyclonic circulation over Uttar Pradesh, northeastern Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas.
• Another upper-air cyclonic circulation over Haryana and neighbouring regions.
• Active monsoon conditions across eastern and northern India.

Meanwhile, rainfall activity over parts of southern India is expected to remain comparatively subdued during the next seven days.
