Leeds United have wasted no time in reshaping their squad ahead of the upcoming Premier League season, confirming 11 player departures and two significant new signings early in the summer transfer window.

According to reports, Leeds will kick off their second consecutive season back in the Premier League with an away fixture against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday, 22 August, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm.

Before the league campaign begins, manager Daniel Farke and his side will travel to the United States for a series of pre-season friendlies against Wrexham, Sunderland, and Liverpool, providing valuable preparation time and opportunities for new players to integrate into the squad.

Among the confirmed exits, Isaac Schmidt has completed a permanent move to Swiss side Young Boys for a fee believed to be around £2 million. Pascal Struijk has joined Brighton & Hove Albion in a deal worth £18 million, with an additional £2 million potentially payable in performance-related add-ons.

Goalkeeper Karl Darlow has signed a free transfer with Manchester United following the expiration of his contract at Elland Road. Fellow goalkeeper Illan Meslier has also left the club, moving to Arsenal as a free agent after his deal came to an end.

Midfielder Facundo Buonanotte has returned to his parent club Brighton after the conclusion of his loan spell, while Connor Douglas has departed upon the expiration of his contract with Leeds.
