New Delhi: The festival of Bhadli Navami 2026 is being celebrated with devotion and faith today on 22nd July. This date is considered to have special significance in Hindu religion. It is also known as Bhadaria Navami. It is believed that this day is an auspicious time, that is, marriage, house warming, new business, land worship and other auspicious works can be done on this day without any separate auspicious time.

According to the Vedic calendar, the Navami Tithi of Ashadha Shukla Paksha has started on July 22 at 5:16 am. This date will end on July 23 at 7:03 am. On the basis of Udaya Tithi, the festival of Bhadali Navami is being celebrated today itself.
Why is Bhadli Navami special?
Bhadli Navami is considered a self-evident and extremely auspicious date. This festival falls two days before Devshayani Ekadashi. There is a religious belief that auspicious works done on this day bring special success and auspicious results.
If for some reason a suitable Muhurta is not available for marriage, house warming, starting a new business or any other auspicious work, then these works can be done on Bhadali Navami without any additional Muhurta. For this reason it is also called Abujh Muhurta.
Which gods and goddesses should be worshiped on this day?
Special importance has been given to the worship of Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi on the day of Bhadali Navami. It is believed that worshiping Shri Hari before Devshayani Ekadashi brings happiness, prosperity and peace in the house.
On this day, devotees also worship Lord Vishnu, fast, perform havan and chant mantras. Devotees following Vaishnav tradition especially worship Sri Hari and seek his blessings.
