Jagdalpur (Chhattisgarh) [भारत]July 22 (ANI): 47 students of 'Gyan Gudi', a free residential coaching initiative launched by the Bastar district administration, have cracked the NEET exam. This is an important achievement for the students of forest area of ​​Bastar. Bastar Collector Akash Chhikara congratulated the students on their success and said that their performance has made not only their parents but the entire district proud.

Chhikara said, "It is a matter of great joy that out of the students studying in 'Gyan Gudi', an initiative of the district administration in Bastar district, about 50 have qualified the NEET exam and four have qualified in nursing. Their counseling will start next month and we are hopeful that they will get admission in a good medical college.

He said that passing the national level NEET examination has brought pride to the parents of the students as well as the Bastar region. Chhikara also said that the administration is planning to expand this coaching initiative beyond NEET and JEE to also include exams like SSC and Banking. He said, "We hope that they will go on to become excellent doctors and play an important role in improving the medical facilities in our region. We are looking forward to expanding our preparation beyond just NEET and JEE exams to SSC, Banking and other exams where questions are asked from general subjects like General Knowledge, Mathematics and English."

The in-charge of 'Gyan Gudi' shared information

Alexander Cherian, in-charge of Gyan Gudi, said that 379 students had registered for NEET through this initiative, of which 240 have qualified in the exam. Cherian said, "All children have talent; it needs to be nurtured. So far, 379 students have appeared for NEET, of which 240 have qualified. Many are enrolled in our government medical colleges and 37 of our students were selected in PAT. They have taken admission in all the universities and agricultural universities of Chhattisgarh."

He said that if the right opportunities are provided then the students of this region can also compete with the students of metros and move ahead. Cherian further said, "Almost all our students have also joined medical colleges. If children are provided opportunities, our children can also compete and progress with children from metro cities."

Successful student shared her experience

NEET-qualified student Aishwarya Panigrahi said the initiative provided her vital support during her preparation. She said, "It is a huge help. I also went to Hyderabad for a year and saw all the struggles there. I faced everything from the language barrier in another state to coming here, and I got all the facilities here."

He said that the teachers were very supportive and were always available to clarify doubts and provide motivation during preparation. (ANI)
