BJP’s march against Rahul Gandhi’s protest, clash near Congress office; There is also news of vandalism in vehicles and injuries to policemen.
Knews Desk- There was a huge uproar between BJP and Congress workers in Bihar’s capital Patna on Wednesday. Workers of both the parties came face to face during the march taken out by BJP to protest against the demonstration of opposition leaders including Rahul Gandhi outside the Prime Minister’s residence. Within no time the dispute escalated so much that fighting started between both the parties.
According to the information, BJP workers were taking out a march from Kurji Hospital to Congress State Office Sadakat Ashram. Meanwhile, a clash took place between the two parties near the Congress office. It is alleged that during this period sticks and stones were thrown, due to which many workers were injured. Some people have suffered serious head injuries.
Vandalism in vehicles, created panic in the area
During the uproar, some angry workers also broke the glass panes of many vehicles. The sudden dispute created an atmosphere of chaos at the spot. The police somehow controlled the situation by separating the two sides.
Congress accused police of bias
Bihar State President of Congress Rajesh Ram made serious allegations against the police regarding this incident. He said that this entire incident happened with the connivance of the police and the action was being taken unilaterally. BJP workers allege that they had come to protest peacefully, but Congress workers attacked them.
BJP workers claim to be seriously injured
It is being told that a large number of BJP workers have been injured in this clash. The injured were immediately taken to Kurji Hospital, where they were treated. If necessary, some injured can be referred to another hospital.
Police said- action will be taken after identifying the culprits
According to the police officers present at the spot, BJP workers had taken out the march without prior notice. Police arrived and took control of the situation. Officials said that some people were injured in stone pelting and some policemen were also injured. The entire matter is being investigated and on the basis of video footage the culprits will be identified and legal action will be taken.
