During the Balram Krishi Mahotsav in Alirajpur, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will perform the bhoomi pujan of development works worth Rs 287.32 crore and inaugurate projects worth Rs 53.55 crore.

Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Government has decided to celebrate the year 2026 as “Farmers Welfare Year”. Under this campaign, Balram Krishi Mahotsav is being organized in all the districts across the state. In this series, a grand program will be organized on the occasion of Balram Agricultural Festival and 120th birth anniversary of Amar Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad on 23rd July in the agricultural produce market located in Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar of Alirajpur district. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will perform the Bhoomi Pujan of various development works worth Rs 287.32 crore for the development of the district, while he will also inaugurate completed projects worth Rs 53.55 crore.

CM Mohan Yadav Visit: Will pay tribute to Chandrashekhar Azad after reaching Azad Kutiya.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will start his tour from 'Azad Kutiya', the birthplace of Chandrashekhar Azad. Here he will pay tribute to the immortal martyr by garlanding his statue. After this, the Chief Minister will reach the agricultural produce market and participate in the organized Balram Krishi Mahotsav and address the farmers.

Balram Krishi Mahotsav: Dialogue with farmers, discussion on modern farming and new technologies will be held.

The Chief Minister will directly interact with the progressive farmers of the district during the program. During this, various topics related to modern technology, innovation, advanced farming methods and agricultural development in the agricultural sector will be discussed in detail. Apart from this, the Chief Minister will also communicate with influencers from different areas from different districts of the division.

Progressive farmers and brilliant students will be honored

In the program, progressive farmers and meritorious students of the district who have done excellent work will be honoured. The objective of Balram Krishi Mahotsav is to provide farmers with information about the latest technologies and public welfare schemes of the government in agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries, cooperation, agricultural engineering and other allied fields. During this time, the benefits of the schemes will also be distributed to the beneficiaries by various departments.

Agriculture Exhibition: Exhibition related to agriculture and animal husbandry will also be the center of attraction.

In the festival, attractive exhibitions will be organized by many departments including agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries, cooperation, agricultural engineering. Through these demonstrations, farmers will be given information about new technologies, modern equipment and government schemes.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will do Bhoomi Pujan of new works worth Rs 287.32 crore

During his visit, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will do the bhoomi pujan of development works costing more than Rs 287.32 crore in the district. These projects include roads of the Public Works Department, rural connectivity roads under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, new high school buildings of the Tribal Affairs Department, barrages of the Water Resources Department, power sub-stations of Madhya Pradesh West Region Electricity Distribution Company, renovation and new construction works of the Prime Minister's College of Excellence, projects of Panchayat and Rural Development Department and many other departments. With the completion of these works, road connectivity, education, irrigation, electricity system and rural development in the district are expected to get new momentum.

Completed development works worth Rs 53.55 crore will also be inaugurated.

The Chief Minister will also inaugurate various development and infrastructure projects prepared at a cost of about Rs 53.55 crore. These include the new 33/11 KV power sub-station of the Electricity Department, school building of the Education Department, Anganwadi building of the Women and Child Development Department, Atal Seva Kendra of the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, culverts, stop dams, Nistar ponds, RMS, drains, paver blocks and many other development works related to rural infrastructure. The commencement of these projects will further strengthen the basic facilities and rural development in the district.
