Business Desk – Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift Launch: Today Maruti Suzuki is going to launch its most popular SUV model Brezza Facelift 2026 in the Indian car market. For the last several months, testing and spy pictures of this SUV were coming out, after which there is curiosity about it among the customers.

The company is preparing to introduce the new Brezza with more premium features, advanced safety and updated technology than before. It is believed that this facelift model will give tough competition to vehicles like Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV 3XO in the compact SUV segment.

Small changes in design, but the cabin will be completely new

There will not be any major changes in the exterior of the new Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift. The company has kept its design the same as before, but to give it a more premium look, it has been given a new front grille, updated bumper, new fog lamp housing and new design alloy wheels. Minor changes have been made in the headlight and rear profile, due to which its identity will remain intact.

The real change will be seen inside the cabin. The new Brezza will be provided with a larger touchscreen infotainment system, new dashboard, updated digital instrument cluster and new center console. For the first time, this SUV is also expected to get front ventilated seats, which will make the driving experience more comfortable than before.

Big upgrade in safety with ADAS

The biggest feature of the new Brezza will be its Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). This will be the first time that this modern safety technology will be seen in Brezza. Through ADAS, the driver will get many such facilities which help in reducing the risk of accidents.

Apart from this, the company is also going to focus special on safety. The new SUV will be provided with features like 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Assist, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat anchor and reverse parking sensor as standard.

Along with this, many premium safety features can also be found in it, which include blind spot warning, lane change alert, rear cross traffic alert, safe exit warning, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), 360 degree camera, front parking sensor, rear defogger, rear wiper and emergency stop signal.

New option will be available in engine also

The company’s 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine will be available in the new Brezza as before. However, this time it is expected to get 6-speed manual transmission instead of 5-speed manual gearbox. Apart from this, 6-speed automatic gearbox and CNG variant will also be available to the customers. The biggest change could be that the company also includes a 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine in the Brezza lineup for the first time. This engine will focus on providing more power and better driving experience.

5-star safety rating claimed

The new Brezza has been made stronger than before in terms of safety. The company claims that the SUV has received a 5-star safety rating in the Bharat NCAP crash test. If this happens then it will be included among the safest vehicles in its segment.

How much could the price be?

Maruti Suzuki will announce the official price of the new Brezza Facelift during the launch today. However, auto experts estimate that the price of the new SUV may be slightly higher than the current model. Currently, the ex-showroom price of the current Brezza ranges between Rs 8.26 lakh to Rs 13.01 lakh. In such a situation, considering the new features and ADAS technology, a slight increase in the starting price of the facelift model is possible.
