New Delhi. Mrityunjay Tiwari, former spokesperson of Lalu Prasad Yadav’s party RJD, joined BJP today. State President Sanjay Saraogi got him the membership of the party at the BJP office in Patna. After joining BJP, Mrityunjay Tiwari targeted RJD’s strategy and Tejashwi Yadav. Mrityunjay Tiwari said, BJP is working today in the interest of the country and the nation. Working to save our religion. We have decided to stay with those who are saving our country, state and our religion and have given up on those who divide and loot the country on the basis of religion and instead of speaking for the 80 per cent Hindu population of the country, they focus only on pleasing the remaining 20 per cent.
Before joining BJP, Tiwari visited Hanuman temple in Patna. After this Tiwari said that I served Rashtriya Janata Dal for almost 20 years. But, the way RJD’s identity and image has been, it has not been able to recover from the lustful culture. I was hoping that being a young leader, Tejashwi Yadav would bring some new ideas, but it did not happen. He has been missing during the current session of the Assembly and even before the elections. Wasting time on an opposition leader who neither has any vision nor any policy, and such parties cannot do any good to the state, country or society.
Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Mrityunjay Tiwari said, the country and Bihar are progressing under their leadership. People from every community, caste, religion and society including youth, farmers and laborers are benefiting from government schemes. Tejashwi Yadav is surrounded by people who are showing him stars during the day. Now Rashtriya Janata Dal is nearing its end. Politics is done for social service and social welfare. Taking the decision in the national interest, we have joined BJP.
