New Delhi: India will aim to build on the momentum from an eventful second day as the Commonwealth Games 2026 enter Day 3 in Glasgow on Saturday, July 25. The country finally opened its medal account on Friday, with para powerlifter Jhandu Kumar securing a bronze in the men’s heavyweight event.
Apart from him, Boxer Jadumani Singh qualified for the pre-quarterfinals with a brilliant win over Scotland’s Aaron Cullen, while the women’s pair of Rupa Rani Tirkey and Pinki secured their second consecutive victory in the lawn bowls.
