Ghazipur. The spark of the ongoing agitation at Jantar Mantar regarding rigging in examinations and student interests has now spread to Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh as well. Today i.e. on Saturday, various student organizations, youth and political workers of the district took to the streets and raised loud slogans and held massive protests against the Central Government.

Protestors gathered in Sarju Pandey Park

In this movement, a large number of students and workers of Azad Samaj Party gathered in Sarju Pandey Park of the city and the protesters expressed deep anger over the police action and lathi charge on the students who were protesting peacefully in Delhi. Students say that the government is playing with the future of the youth. Also, the students have alleged that the transparency of the recruitment systems has completely ended. During the demonstration, students were also seen raising slogans demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Lockout and traffic jam in PG college

The anger of the agitating students increased further when they reached the PG college. The students united and locked the main gates of the college and sat on strike there. Due to which a heated argument was witnessed between the college administration and the students. Due to this rally, traffic on the main roads of the city came to a complete standstill for some time.

Let us tell you that this protest in Ghazipur has been done in support of the movement being run at the national level by various student organizations and Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Youth are raising their voice across the country in protest against paper leak and administrative failure in NEET and other competitive examinations. Apart from this, the protesters have also submitted a memorandum addressed to the President through the district administration. The student leaders have also warned that if the government does not take any positive decision on their demands soon, then this movement will be given an even more extreme form.
