Kicking off her historic overseas journey on July 20, President Murmu arrived in Chisinau for a landmark state visit to Moldova, holding extensive discussions with her Moldovan counterpart, President Maia Sandu, to explore untapped potential in bilateral relations. Following her successful stay in Moldova, she traveled to North Macedonia from July 21 to 22, etching her name in history as the first Indian President to set foot in the nation.
