Big accident in Hormuz! Oil tanker explodes after hitting sea mine

New Delhi: An oil tanker passing through the Strait of Hormuz exploded after hitting a sea mine. According to Iran’s news agency Tasnim, the tanker deviated from the sea route set by Iran, after which it collided with a mine and exploded.

According to the report, this accident occurred in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most strategic and busy oil trade routes, through which a large part of the global oil supply passes. However, no official statement has yet been issued by the Iranian authorities regarding this incident. Therefore, the tanker explosion and its causes could not be independently confirmed.
