Emma Roberts and her actor beau Cody John have officially tied the knot. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate outdoor ceremony in Idaho on July 25, after four years of dating.

The wedding was first reported by Vogue, which also shared the first photos of the stunning bride and her look for the big day. According to reports, Roberts said 'I do' in a custom-designed Monique Lhuillier gown. For the ceremony, the bride wore a flowing silk chiffon dress paired with a sheer shawl and a long white veil, while the dashing groom opted for a tailored brown suit.

Photos from the outdoor wedding also surfaced online through celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi, offering a glimpse of the intimate celebrations. Roberts' aunt, Oscar-winning actor Julia Roberts , and her husband, cinematographer Danny Moder, were among the guests at the wedding.


Roberts and John have been together since 2022. The relationship became public when John shared a photo of the pair kissing on social media with the caption, "sweet sweet."

Ahead of the wedding, Roberts spoke to Vogue about designing her dream bridal look, "I've been married in a movie before, and I tried out wedding dresses for that, which feels so weird. So now, it's the real deal."

The actor explained that she envisioned a vintage-inspired aesthetic for her wedding day, "I'm obsessed with antique books and treasure hunting, and I love collecting old ephemera, so I really wanted that to shine through in the dress."

Rather than opting for a traditional bright white gown, Roberts worked closely with Monique Lhuillier to create a custom tea-stained fabric that reflected her vision. "I kind of wanted to look like a ghost—a little antique ghost doll," she added.

John proposed to Roberts in 2024, with the actor announcing their engagement on Instagram by showing off her diamond ring and writing in the caption, "Putting this here before my mom tells everyone."

The nuptial marks Emma and Cody's first marriage. The actress was previously in high-profile relationships with actor Garrett Hedlund whom she shares a five-year-old son, Rhodes. She was also in a long-term romance with Evan Peters.
