Mirabai Chanu India Gold Medal PM Modi Ccongratulates: Indian weightlifting star Mirabai Chanu gave the country its first gold of the competition by winning the gold medal in the women’s 48 kg category at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026. This is the third consecutive time that Chanu has won a gold medal in the Commonwealth Games, while it is also her fourth Commonwealth medal.
