Teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi continued his dream start to international cricket with a brilliant 81 as India defeated Zimbabwe by 35 runs in the third T20I to complete a 3-0 series sweep in Harare.
The 15-year-old smashed eight fours and four sixes to guide India to 192/5 after winning the toss. Zimbabwe fought hard through Ryan Burl’s unbeaten 54 but were restricted to 157/7, with Mayank Yadav starring with figures of 3/28. India dominated the series after bouncing back from recent defeats in Ireland and England, while Zimbabwe suffered their second consecutive T20I series loss.
Sooryavanshi capped a memorable tour, having scored two half-centuries in three matches and emerging as India’s standout performer.
