At the Pratibha Samman ceremony in Roorkee, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami honored the meritorious students and told about the government's schemes on education, NEP, employment and youth empowerment.

Roorkee. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami honored the meritorious students who have excelled in high school and intermediate board examinations at the 'Pratibha Samman Samaroh' organized in Roorkee on Monday. This program was organized by Vidya Bharati All India Institute of Education, Uttarakhand.

The Chief Minister encouraged the talented students by participating in this program for the third consecutive year. He said that the achievements of the students are proof that hard work, discipline and good values ​​are the biggest forces to achieve any goal.

Pratibha Samman Ceremony 2026: Meritorious students got respect, confidence increased

Congratulating all the students who were honored, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that this honor is not only a celebration of their achievements, but also an inspiration to do better further. He said that such honor increases the self-confidence of the students and they become more prepared to face every challenge of life. He called upon the students to move forward with hard work and dedication and said that these youth will bring glory to the state and the country in the future.

1.25 lakh students are studying in 562 schools of Vidya Bharti.

The Chief Minister said that Vidya Bharti has strengthened the education system across the country based on Indian culture, eternal traditions and patriotism. He told that the Saraswati Shishu Mandir movement, which started in Gorakhpur in the year 1952, has today become a big educational network in the country.

He said that at present Vidya Bharti is providing education and values ​​to about 45 lakh students across the country. In Uttarakhand, about 1.25 lakh students are studying in 562 schools of the organization. The Chief Minister also appreciated the contribution of teachers, volunteers and workers associated with the organization and said that their dedication is playing an important role in building the new generation.

Uttarakhand becomes the first state to implement NEP, major changes are taking place in education

Chief Minister Dhami said that Uttarakhand is the first state in the country to implement the National Education Policy (NEP). Through the new education policy, the education system is being made modern, practical and employment-oriented so that students can be better prepared for future challenges. He said that the state government is continuously adding new facilities in government schools so that quality education can be provided to the students.

From smart classroom to 'Kaushalam', government's focus on education reform

The Chief Minister said that smart classrooms, free textbooks, shoes and school bags are being provided in government schools. Along with this, talented students are being encouraged through the Chief Minister Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana. He said that Bharat Darshan programme, model colleges, IT labs, hostel facilities and 'Kaushalam' scheme promoting skill development are also being run in the state. These initiatives aim to connect students with modern education along with Indian knowledge tradition, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Youth gain confidence from anti-copying law and transparent recruitment

The Chief Minister said that to secure the future of the youth, the Uttarakhand government has implemented the country's strictest anti-copying law. Its positive results have also emerged. He said that in the last five years, more than 34 thousand youth have been given government jobs through a completely transparent recruitment process. Apart from this, financial assistance of Rs 50 thousand is also provided to the candidates who pass the written examination of competitive examinations like UPSC, NDA and CDS for further preparation.

Appeal to youth to contribute to nation building

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami told the students that they are not only the future of the country but also the biggest strength of the present. He expressed confidence that the knowledge, values, leadership abilities and patriotism of the youth will play an important role in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's resolve of 'Developed India'. He said that with the efforts of the new generation, India will once again establish its strong identity on the world stage.

During the program, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also inaugurated Anand Swaroop Arya Saraswati Vidya Mandir Shishu Vatika. A large number of students, parents, teachers and officials associated with Vidya Bharti were present on this occasion.
