Actor Dhanush met the fans gathered outside his house on his birthday. He greeted with folded hands and also cut the cake. Dhanush will soon be seen in director Vetri Maran's film 'Tamil Murugan' and Rajkumar Periyasamy's film 'Om'.

Chennai (Tamil Nadu) [भारत]July 28 (ANI): Actor Dhanush came out on the balcony of his house on Tuesday afternoon and greeted fans who had gathered outside for hours to wish him a happy birthday. He greeted the fans with folded hands and a warm smile.

Dhanush also came down and came out of his house to meet him personally. He also shook hands with many fans and cut his birthday cake. After getting a glimpse of Dhanush, many excited fans expressed their happiness to ANI.

Dhanush's upcoming movies

Will be seen in 'Tamil Murugan'

Meanwhile, on the acting front, Dhanush will be seen in 'Tamil Murugan' with director Vetri Maran. The film is Dhanush's fifth project with Vetri Maaran after Polladhavan, Aadukalam, Vada Chennai and Asuran. The duo had earlier announced 'Vada Chennai II: Ambuvin Ezuchi', but work on that project has not started yet.

The story of 'Tamil Murugan' has been written by Arivumathi, while Sai Abhyankar has been chosen to compose the music. The release date of the film has not been announced yet.

Will work in 'Om' also

Dhanush also has some other projects. The actor will next be seen in a film tentatively titled 'Om'. In the film 'Om', Mammootty, Sai Pallavi and Sreeleela are in the lead roles along with Dhanush. Written and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, the film's music is composed by Sai Abhyankar. 'Om' is scheduled to release in theaters worldwide on October 16, 2026. (ANI)
