Managed workspace provider Table Space is reportedly preparing to file draft papers for its proposed IPO by early August.
According to a Bloomberg report, the startup is looking to raise up to $350 Mn (about ₹3,353 Cr) from the public issue. The IPO could comprise a mix of fresh equity shares worth around ₹1,000 Cr and an offer for sale by existing shareholders.
The startup has appointed Axis Capital, IIFL Capital Services, BofA Securities and CLSA as the book-running lead managers for the issue, the report added.
Commenting on Inc42’s queries, a Table Space spokesperson said, “As a matter of policy, we do not comment on market speculation or media reports. Should there be any material development requiring disclosure, the company will communicate the same through the appropriate channels.”
Table Space raised $300 Mn in equity funding total from global private equity firm Hillhouse Capital in 2022.
The latest development comes months after Inc42 exclusively reported that Table Space had secured its board’s approval to raise ₹1,000 Cr through a fresh issue of equity shares during its IPO. Ahead of the public issue, the startup also approved a ₹200 Cr private placement at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held earlier this year.
In line with its public market preparations, the startup also converted into a public entity in 2025, changing its name to Table Space Technologies Ltd from Table Space Technologies Pvt Ltd. At the time, it also strengthened its board by appointing three independent directors.
In June, the startup appointed former Mphasis executive Ashwin Chandrasekar as its chief information and technology officer in a bid to bolster tech capabilities ahead of its next phase of growth.
Founded in 2017 by Karan Chopra and Sanjay Mehta, Table Space provides managed office solutions for enterprises across major Indian cities. It caters primarily to large enterprises and global capability centres (GCCs), offering customised workspaces, ready-to-move office suites and workplace management services. It currently manages over 11 Mn sq ft of workspace across 80-plus centres in nine Indian cities, serving more than 425 enterprise clients.
On the financial front, Table Space reported a net loss of ₹1,561 Cr in FY25 as against a profit of ₹11 Cr in the previous fiscal year, primarily due to exceptional items. Meanwhile, its operating revenue jumped 51% to ₹1,360 Cr from ₹908 Cr in FY24. The company is yet to file its FY26 financial statements.
The reported IPO plans come amid sustained investor interest in India’s flexible workspace sector due to buoyant demand from enterprises and multinational corporations. A number of players in the segment, including Awfis, Smartworks, WeWork India, and IndiQube, have gone public over the past couple of years.
