Maths Learning Tricks: A government school in Panchmahal district of Gujarat has changed the way of teaching mathematics to children. A unique 'Maths Park' has been created here, where children are easily learning difficult concepts in the classroom.
Panchmahal (Gujarat): A government primary school in Panchmahal district of Gujarat has made a difficult subject like mathematics fun for children. The school has created a unique "Maths Park" where children understand mathematics concepts through games, outdoor activities and practical methods instead of traditional classroom teaching.
Trick to learn mathematics along with activity
- Built in Nava Nadisar Primary School, this park has activity-based learning spaces. These include number lines, abacus, geometry models and study games. With this, students learn mathematics along with physical activity, which makes the subject more interesting and easier to understand.
- School teacher Shantilal said that the aim of this initiative is to make mathematics fun and easy for every child.

It is interesting to learn mathematics in Maths Park.
- The teacher said, "In this Maths Park, we have created activity-based learning spaces, where children connect physical activities with mathematics. This helps them understand mathematics concepts in a fun, simple and entertaining way. We created this Maths Park to make learning mathematics easy and interesting."
- Students say that this new method has made a visible difference in their studies.
- Darshana, a student of the school, said that because of the Maths Park, learning has become fun and easy. Teachers guide students through interactive activities.

Maths formulas are easily understood
- Another student, Hardik, said that the park makes it easier for him to understand math formulas and solve questions.
- He said, “Our teachers explain every concept very well, so I learn everything in school itself. Because of this, I do not feel the need for any extra tuition.”
- This Maths Park has been prepared with the help of local artisans under the guidance of school teachers and principal.

Thinking about mathematics changed with this initiative
- Principal Rakesh Patel said that this initiative has changed the thinking of students regarding mathematics.
- "Earlier, mathematics was taught mainly through books and classroom lessons. With Maths Park, children learn through activities and in a practical manner. Now mathematics is not seen as a burden but as a fun subject," he said.
- Nava Nadisar Primary School has also been recognized as 'PM Shri Model School' for its innovative teaching methods. This school is a great example of how activity-based learning can improve the classroom environment in government schools, enhance children's understanding and strengthen the quality of education.
