Sunil Anand passes away, died of heart attack in London: Sunil Anand, son of famous actor Dev Anand, has passed away. He breathed his last in London at the age of about 70. His sister Devina Anand’s daughter Ginni Narang has confirmed this sad news.
Appeal to respect the privacy of the family
Ginni Narang said in a statement that the family’s privacy should be respected during this difficult time. Sunil’s mother, Dev Anand’s wife and famous actress Kalpana Karthik, resides in Ooty with her only daughter. His age is 94 years.
Niece gave information about death
Confirming her maternal uncle’s demise, Ginni Narang said, “On behalf of our family, we are sharing the news of Sunil Anand’s demise. We are greatly consoled by people’s love and support.”
Sunil passes away after Dev Anand’s death
According to sources, Sunil Anand suffered a heart attack, after which he was admitted to a hospital in London. He died on the morning of 28 July. It is worth noting that Sunil also said goodbye to the world in the same hospital where Dev Anand breathed his last in 2011.
Beginning of film career
Sunil Anand started his career in 1984 with the film ‘Anand Aur Anand’ directed by his father, in which he played the role of a supporting actor. However, the film was not successful at the box office.
facing failure in films
After this, Sunil also did many films in lead roles, like ‘Car Thief’, but these too were not successful. The film ‘Main Tere Liye’, directed by his uncle, also could not attract the audience.
Comeback attempt also failed
In 2001, Sunil made a comeback with the film ‘Master’, which he directed himself. It was a martial arts film, but it also failed to impress the audience. After this he did not act in any film.
