The boxer from Manipur defeated Zambia's Mwale via unanimous decision in their quarterfinal encounter to clinch a spot in the final four, ensuring another medal for the Indian contingent given that both losing semifinalists in CWG boxing earn bronze.
Reflecting on his performance, Jadumani told ANI, "I will do even better in the upcoming semi-finals and get the gold for India. Today it was a tough fight. But I knew that I had more power than him, but he used to punch more. I will dedicate the medal to my uncle who has brought me here."
The Zambian opponent started well, relying on swift combinations during a competitive opening period. Nevertheless, the Indian fighter edged the first round 4-1 on the judges' tallies.
Jadumani seized full command from the second round onward through tactical discipline, nimble footwork, and precise landing punches. He swept the second round across all judges before continuing his control through the final three minutes.

Preeti locked down her spot in the women's 54kg semifinals with an emphatic 5-0 victory over Nicole Clyde, while reigning Asian champion Priya Ghanghas rebounded after a slow opening to beat Scotland's home favourite Niamh Mitchell in the women's 60kg quarterfinal.
Jadumani's podium guarantee further enhances India's tally at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, where the contingent has maintained strong form across boxing, weightlifting, and athletics.
India has accumulated 12 medals so far in Glasgow, including two gold, seven silver, and three bronze.
