Brazilian star Neymar was the centre of attention in Santos’ win last Tuesday. At the end of the Copa Sudamericana clash against Universidad Central de Venezuela, several opposition players went up to him to ask for shirts, photographs and souvenirs.
The most eye-catching moment involved player Edwin Mosquera, who came over with his phone to film a video next to the No. 10 and ended up kissing him on the neck, a reaction the Peixe forward took in good humour.
The Venezuelan side lost on aggregate 8-3. After confirming qualification, Santos is already looking ahead to its next international test, where it will meet Ecuador’s Macará in the round of 16 of the tournament.
