Times Entertainment's Power Creator Awards 2026 will be held in Mumbai on September 12, celebrating the creativity, originality and impact of India's leading digital creators . Now in its second year, the awards will honour India’s most influential digital voices that have redefined the country’s content creation landscape.
This year Mukesh Chhabra joins the jury for Power Creator Awards , bringing with him over two decades of experience in discovering and nurturing exceptional talent. Widely credited with redefining the art of casting in Hindi cinema, Chhabra has played a pivotal role in shaping some of the industry's most celebrated films, including Dangal, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Gangs of Wasseypur, PK, and Jawan.

As the creator economy continues to reshape the entertainment landscape, Chhabra believes today's digital storytellers represent a powerful new generation of talent.
Hailing content creators , he said, "Today's creators are not waiting for opportunities, they are creating them. That's what makes this generation so powerful. Digital platforms have become the world's biggest stage, where talent determines visibility.”
Discussing the phenomenon of content creators turning full-time actors, Chhabra said, “As someone who has spent years discovering actors, I find it fascinating how many creators are now transitioning into films and series because they already know how to engage, entertain, and build a genuine connection with audiences. The Power Creator Awards is a celebration of this new wave of storytellers who are redefining entertainment and inspiring the next generation to dream bigger."
With his deep understanding of digital content, performance, storytelling and talent, Chhabra's presence on the jury underscores the growing convergence of digital creators and mainstream entertainment. His expertise in identifying compelling voices and screen presence makes him uniquely placed to recognise creators who are setting new benchmarks for creativity, influence, and cultural impact.
