Oppo’s big announcement: a new 5G smartphone with a 10,000mAh battery is coming to market.

New Delhi. Smartphone manufacturer Oppo is preparing to make a big splash in the tech market. According to reports, the company is going to launch a new smartphone, the Oppo A7 Pro Max, under its popular ‘A’ series. The biggest highlight of this phone will be its massive 10,000 mAh single-cell battery, making it one of the most powerful phones in the industry. Recently, renowned Chinese tech tipster Digital Chat Station shared leaked details of this phone on the microblogging platform Weibo. Subsequently, this smartphone with model number PYC110 has also been spotted on the benchmarking platform Geekbench, confirming its key specifications and performance.

Oppo A7 Pro Max specifications and features

According to tech reports, the Oppo A7 Pro Max will feature a powerful 10,000 mAh battery that will easily deliver two to three days of backup. It will also support 80W SuperVOOC fast charging for faster charging. Despite its large battery, the phone will be just 8.47mm thick and weigh 226 grams. Additionally, the phone will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display. This display will include premium technologies like 1.5K high-resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone will also feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset. According to a Geekbench listing, the phone has been tested with a 12GB RAM variant and will run on Android 16. For photography enthusiasts, the phone features a dual camera setup in a raised rectangular camera module on the back, with a 50-megapixel primary lens. There is also a possibility of providing a 50MP front camera for selfies.

Expected price and launch

Following the success of the OPPO A6 Pro 5G, the company has targeted this upcoming phone at mid-range customers. Its expected price in China is expected to be around 2,000 to 2,500 yuan, which translates to approximately ₹25,000 to ₹28,000 in Indian rupees. However, OPPO has yet to officially announce its Indian launch or exact pricing.
