Emma explained that initially she thought booking a ticket would ensure her journey, but later learned that confirmation is just as important. She said that sometimes the waiting list is quite long, which was surprising.
Only one person in her group of three had a confirmed ticket. Based on that, the three boarded the train and had to adjust to sharing a single seat for the first few hours. However, when some seats became vacant at night, the TTE gave them other seats, allowing everyone to sleep comfortably. Emma wrote that the entire experience was exciting and memorable for her.
Shared a video from booking to the end of the journey
In her post, Emma also praised the atmosphere of the Indian Railways. She wrote that the train was filled with people from different states and cultures, vendors selling food and drinks, the sound of tea, and a slight commotion, but despite this, everything continued to function smoothly.
After the video went viral on social media, users also expressed their reactions. Many commented that traveling in 2AC coaches in India is very comfortable, while others jokingly wrote that the fare depends on the amenities you receive. Many users also described the foreign woman’s experience as a true glimpse of Indian Railways.
