Electric Bike Launch India: A new player has entered the Indian electric two-wheeler market. Ahmedabad-based startup Avore Electric has launched its first electric motorcycle, the EX. The company claims that this bike has been developed using completely indigenous technology and has been prepared after more than three years of research, testing and engineering. With an IDC range of up to 260 kilometers, a top speed of 114 km/h and many smart features, this bike seems to be directly challenging the premium electric bike segment.

Price, variants and booking details

The Avore Electric EX has been launched in three variants: EX 2S, EX 2, and EX 1. Its starting ex-showroom price is ₹1,24,999. Customers can book it for just ₹799. The company says deliveries will begin within the next two months, and the bike will soon be available in showrooms in major cities across the country.

260km range and 114kmph top speed

The EX 2S variant is reported to offer an IDC range of up to 260 kilometers on a single charge, compared to the EX 2’s range of 255 kilometers and the EX 1’s range of 160 kilometers. The top model has a top speed of 114 km/h, while the other two variants can reach speeds of up to 100 km/h.

The bike features an industry-first Integrated Motor + Swingarm Powertrain, which promises improved balance and handling. It also comes with a 1500W onboard fast charger, allowing the battery to be charged from a standard household socket. The company states that the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in approximately 2 hours and fully charged in approximately 4 hours.

Equipped with AI features and smart technology

Avore Electric EX is equipped with the company’s own AVORE SENSE operating system which works with AI-powered Avore Synapse and Avore Vehicle Assistance (AVA). It has advanced features like Apex Performance Mode, Syft Manual Gear Mode, Park Assist (PAM+), Guide-Me-Home Lights, Auto Indicator Cut-off and Beacon Tank Light. The company claims that the bike has been launched after more than 1 lakh kilometers of road testing and more than 2,500 hours of validation. A warranty of 5 years or 60,000 kilometers is also being given on the battery.
