Zimbabwe scored 125 for seven in the first T20 cricket match against India on Thursday. Wesley Madhevere top-scored for Zimbabwe with 39, while Tadivanashe Marumani scored an unbeaten 27. Ryan Burl contributed 26 runs. Mayank Yadav and Prince Yadav took two wickets each for India.
India, batting in the second innings, easily achieved the target of 126 for seven, securing the victory. Vaibhav Suryavanshi played a brilliant innings, scoring 18 runs off 18 balls. Abhishek Sharma was dismissed for 1 run, while Ishan Kishan scored 35 runs off 24 balls. Captain Shreyas Iyer also played an unbeaten innings of 28 runs off 24 balls.
