The Uttar Pradesh Trained Graduate Teacher (UP TGT) exam is conducted to select subject-specialist teachers for Classes 9 and 10 in secondary schools across Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) conducted this exam earlier this year, and the selection process is now in its final stage.

UPESSC has already conducted the Document Verification (DV) rounds for UP TGT 2026. A special document verification round is now being organized for candidates who missed the earlier rounds. UP TGT 2026 Document Verification: Required Documents

Candidates must report to the venue specified on their admit card at the designated time on August 10, 2026. They must bring these original documents along with photocopies:

Printed copy of the UP TGT 2026 DV admit card
Educational qualification certificates and marksheets
Valid government-issued photo ID proof
Category, EWS, PwD, or reservation certificates (if applicable)

Any additional documents specified by UPESSC
The UP TGT 2026 written examination was conducted on June 3 and 4, 2026. It covered 15 subjects. UPESSC announced 3,539 vacancies under Advertisement No. 01/2022. The first phase of document verification took place from July 9 to July 17, 2026. The final result was declared on July 28, 2026.
