A shocking incident has emerged from Faridabad district, Haryana. On Wednesday morning, 29-year-old Sandhya, a teacher at a private school in Sikrona village, was stabbed to death outside the school premises. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed on the school premises. The incident caused a stir in the area, and the police acted swiftly and arrested the accused within about two hours.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday. A young man wearing a mask arrived at the school premises and asked the school administration for an appointment with Sandhya. Upon receiving the information, the teacher approached the main entrance of the school to meet him when the accused suddenly attacked her with a knife.

According to CCTV footage, the accused is seen waiting for a while in the school lobby. As soon as the teacher arrives, he gestures for her to come out. He then grabs her by the neck, pulls her out, and begins repeatedly stabbing her. The entire incident unfolds in a matter of seconds. The accused continued attacking the teacher even after she fell to the ground and then fled the scene.

The incident caused panic among the school staff and students. Hearing the commotion, the school administrators rushed outside and attempted to rescue the teacher. It was reported that the accused threatened them with a knife, forcing them to retreat momentarily. Meanwhile, the accused fled the scene on a motorcycle without a license plate.

Immediately after the attack, the injured teacher was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead. According to hospital authorities, she had suffered multiple serious injuries and was bleeding profusely, making her life unsustainable.

Upon receiving information about the incident, several police teams arrived at the scene and, based on CCTV footage, began a search for the accused. Within hours, police arrested 21-year-old Amit, a resident of Kot village. During interrogation, the accused confessed to the murder.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the accused had been stalking the teacher for the past two years and attempting to communicate with her. The teacher had consistently protested his actions and maintained distance from him. According to the police, a few days ago, the teacher had filed a complaint of molestation against the accused. At that time, the accused publicly apologized, after which the matter was settled.

Investigating officers believe that the accused was angered by this complaint and committed this crime out of revenge. Police are currently investigating all aspects of the case, including the accused’s prior planning, the weapon used in the crime, and other possible evidence.

The incident has also raised serious questions about security arrangements in schools. The school where the incident occurred is not far from a police station. Despite this, the accused was able to easily enter the school premises and carry out the incident. Local residents and parents have demanded that visitor screening, CCTV surveillance, and security protocols in schools be strengthened.

This incident has also become a matter of concern regarding women’s safety. Experts say that many such incidents can be prevented if complaints of stalking, molestation, and harassment are taken seriously and effective action is taken at the initial stage. Legal action, along with social awareness, is essential to ensure women’s safety.

Police stated that a case of murder and other serious crimes has been registered against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). A detailed investigation is underway, and the police are recording statements from school administration, staff, and eyewitnesses.

This incident in Faridabad once again reminds us how important timely, strict action and improved security arrangements are in cases of violence and harassment against women. Police say that a charge sheet will be filed soon in the case and strict legal action will be taken against the accused.
