Gold Rate Today (August 4, 2026): Gold prices continued to rise on Tuesday, August 4. Gold prices gained on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) by 0.35 percent and opened at Rs 1.43 lakh per 10 grams. According to goodreturns.in, today's gold price in India stands at Rs 14,400 per gram for 24 karat gold (99.9% purity), Rs 13,200 per gram for 22 karat gold (91.6% purity), and Rs 10,800 per gram for 18 karat gold (75% purity). Gold prices on Monday rose Rs 364 to Rs 1,43,740 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions on firm spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange , contracts for October delivery traded higher by Rs 364, or 0.25 per cent, at Rs 1,43,740 .
