612hp of power, 0-100kmph in 3.8 seconds
Talking about the new Mercedes-AMG E 53 HYBRID 4MATIC+, it is powered by a 3.0-litre in-line 6-cylinder petrol engine which is paired with an electric motor. Together they generate 585hp of power and 750Nm of torque. On activating the Race Start mode, its total power reaches 612hp. Let us tell you that the company has informed that this high-performance sedan can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in just 3.8 seconds. Its top speed is electronically limited to 250kmph, while with the AMG Driver’s Package, it can be increased to 280kmph.
Electric range over 100KM
This is the first plug-in hybrid sedan in Mercedes-Benz’s E-Class range. The company claims an electric-only range of over 100 kilometers according to the WLTP standard. This means that short journeys, such as the daily commute to and from work, can be completed without starting the petrol engine. This will not only save fuel but also provide the experience of AMG’s high-performance driving when needed.
The new AMG sedan is equipped with advanced features
The Mercedes-AMG E 53 HYBRID 4MATIC+ has many great features, including the 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system as standard. It also comes with Active Rear-Axle Steering, which provides better turning at low speeds and more stability at high speeds. The company has launched it in two variants. The Performance Edition is priced at ₹1.45 crore and the Racing Edition is priced at ₹1.48 crore (ex-showroom).
Electrified lineup to get a boost in India

The AMG E 53 Hybrid furthers our “powertrain agnostic” strategy for India, allowing customers to choose the powertrain they desire based on their needs.”
