Lamine Camara has been linked with a move away from AS Monaco this summer.

According to reports in France, as relayed by SportWitness, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are all keen on signing the 22-year-old midfielder, but Monaco are not prepared to approve his exit.

The French club have already rejected a €35 million bid from Crystal Palace, and any side wanting to bring in Camara will need to spend a major fee. The report adds that even a €60 million offer would not be enough to secure the player’s signature.

Camara is very highly regarded across Europe and is considered a player with a huge future ahead of him. He could turn out to be an outstanding signing for either Liverpool or Manchester United. Both teams need greater physical presence and more defensive protection in midfield, and the 22-year-old Senegal international could be an ideal option.

A move to England could be an exciting prospect for the young midfielder. Even so, he is an important player for Monaco, and it is easy to understand why the club do not want to let him go. He is still young, has significant potential, and should continue to improve with coaching and experience. Monaco may well be able to sell him for an even bigger fee in the future.

It remains to be seen whether Liverpool, Manchester United or Chelsea will submit a compelling offer for the player in the final days of the transfer window.

Manchester United need to find a replacement for Casemiro, while Liverpool require a player capable of anchoring the midfield. At Chelsea, Enzo Fernandez has also been linked with a move away from the club. There is little doubt that all three clubs could benefit from adding the Senegal midfielder.
