Tezzbuzz Desk – Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the by-election results. Regarding the BJP’s defeat in the Bankipur and Datia by-elections, Akhilesh Yadav sarcastically said that the BJP probably wanted to see how many votes it would receive if it contested the elections without resorting to alleged “dishonesty.” He claimed that the public had responded to the BJP through their votes.
Akhilesh Yadav also leveled serious allegations against the BJP, including the use of the police and administration in the elections and alleged EVM tampering. He said that this time the BJP tried to gauge public resentment against it for contesting elections in the usual manner.
‘I wanted to see how many votes I would get without any dishonesty.’
Akhilesh Yadav, reacting to the by-election results, said that the BJP wanted to see how many votes it could get without alleged fraud. He said that the public has shown that if the BJP contests the elections without alleged irregularities, it will face defeat.
The SP chief claimed that if the BJP had contested the elections like they did in Kundarki or had used the police and administration, the outcome might have been different. Akhilesh alleged that the BJP wanted to see how many votes the public would give it without using the police and administration and without allegedly tampering with EVMs. According to Akhilesh Yadav, the results of these by-elections reflect public anger against the BJP.
‘Got a return gift for 12 years’
Akhilesh Yadav also described the BJP’s defeat as a “return gift for 12 years.” He said that after this result, BJP workers have nothing left. The SP chief said that the public has expressed their displeasure with the BJP’s policies through their votes. He did not limit the by-election results to just victory or defeat, but presented it as a message from the public. Akhilesh Yadav had previously targeted the BJP on the social media platform X regarding the by-election results.
‘God made those who tried to make God dance dance’
Akhilesh Yadav wrote in his post, “God himself made those who had the arrogance to make God dance.” He said that the public has responded to the arrogance of those who considered themselves above God. The SP president described the by-election results as a combined result of the anger of the youth and their parents. He alleged that the BJP had betrayed the public’s trust and faith in various ways. He said that the unity of the youth and the anger generated in their families were reflected in the election results.
He also took a jibe at the resignation of BJP leaders.
Akhilesh Yadav also questioned the BJP’s organization and leadership. He said that demands for resignations could now arise from within the BJP itself. He sarcastically questioned how the party could move forward relying on leaders who couldn’t even win their own assembly seats. Akhilesh also blamed those who chose the leadership within the party or imposed their choices on the organization for this defeat. The SP president said that no one can now claim that resignations don’t happen in the BJP.
‘Double engine double defeat’
Akhilesh Yadav described the by-election results as a “double defeat for the double engine.” He targeted the BJP’s national and state leadership, saying that when the national president failed to win his own constituency, questions would be raised about the state-level leadership as well.
He claimed that these results marked the beginning of a political crisis for the BJP. Akhilesh Yadav said that the BJP’s defeat marked the beginning of a change, and that even the party’s traditionally safe seats would no longer guarantee victory in the upcoming elections.
‘You won’t even find someone to take a BJP ticket’
The SP chief also made a bold claim about the BJP’s future. He stated that the BJP’s future woes will not be limited to electoral defeat, but the party may also face difficulty finding candidates. Akhilesh Yadav sarcastically stated that the situation could become such that a candidate seeking a BJP ticket may not be found even with “drones and binoculars.” Following the by-election results, Akhilesh Yadav launched a scathing attack on the BJP. He questioned everything from the election process to the BJP’s organization and leadership. The SP chief is presenting these results as public anger against the BJP and the beginning of political change.
Akhilesh Yadav’s claims of “dishonesty” in the election, the use of police and administrative tools, and EVM tampering are claims made by Akhilesh Yadav. The news report does not provide any official confirmation of these allegations.
