UTET 2026: The Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) has extended the application deadline for the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2026. Candidates can now apply until August 9, while the deadline for paying the application fee is August 11. Applications must be submitted via the official website, uktet.com. This decision by the board brings significant relief to thousands of B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. qualified candidates in the state.
Students are advised to apply before August 9 to avoid any last-minute issues.

Eligibility for Uttarakhand TET
The Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for eligibility to teach classes 1 to 5, and Paper 2 is for eligibility to teach classes 6 to 8. The educational qualifications for both papers are as follows:

Paper 1: Candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks and must have passed or be in the final year of a two-year D.El.Ed., BTC, or B.El.Ed. program.

Paper 2: Candidates must possess a graduation degree along with a qualification in B.Ed., B.El.Ed., BA-B.Ed., or BSc-B.Ed.

Application Fee
The application fee for Uttarakhand TET is ₹600 for a single paper and ₹1,000 for both papers for General and OBC category candidates. For SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates, the fee is ₹300 for a single paper and ₹500 for both papers.

Click on the 'UTET 2026 online application' link available on the home page.
Register by entering your valid mobile number and email ID.
After logging in, accurately fill in your personal and educational qualification details in the application form.

Scan and upload your recent passport-sized photograph and signature. Pay the application fee according to your category and submit the form finally.
Take a printout of the application form and keep it safe for future reference.
