New Delhi. The Bombay High Court heard a case on Wednesday regarding online posts against Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. The court ruled that the online posts against the Union Minister were offensive, obscene, derogatory, and defamatory. The court ordered the removal of all such posts. The court made this comment amid the ongoing controversy surrounding E20 fuel.

A single bench of Justice Arif Doctor granted interim relief to Gadkari and directed Meta, X Corp, and Google LLC to immediately remove the posts. The court stated that the posts were “visibly offensive, disgusting, and obscene.”
The bench also asked online platforms like Meta, X Corp, and Google LLC, “You have so much technology, but don’t you have a system in place to immediately detect such incidents? If someone posts something obscene or offensive, it should be immediately detected and removed. This is disgusting. Someone is spewing venom.”
