Brazil star Neymar has raised fresh uncertainty over the future of his professional career while speaking about his time at Santos. The forward said he does not have a fixed date to retire or to decide where he will play next.
The attacker underlined that his immediate focus remains on the Sao Paulo club until the end of his present contract. “I have a contract with Santos until December and I intend to fulfil it, to honour the shirt in the best way possible,” said the Brazil international.
With an eye on the end of the year, Neymar said he will assess every possible path for his career, including extending his stay at the club, joining another team, or even retiring. Even so, he insisted that he feels in excellent physical condition and that he is continuing to improve on the pitch.
