Agni-4 Missile Test Triumphs Off Odisha Coast

India successfully test-fired the Medium Range Ballistic Missile (MRBM) Agni-4 from the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur, Odisha, on August 6, 2026.
The launch, conducted under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command, successfully validated all operational and technical parameters, said the Ministry of Defence.
The Agni-4, an intermediate-range ballistic missile, is designed to enhance India’s strike capability with improved navigation, guidance, and payload delivery.
This successful test adds to India’s growing missile arsenal, underlining its readiness to meet evolving security challenges while advancing indigenous defence technology.
