Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has once again made headlines after he revealed that his favorite leader in the BJP is Captain Amarinder Singh. The video is now rapidly going viral and has become a topic of discussion. Previously, BJP leader Amarinder Singh had praised Rahul Gandhi. He stated that Rahul Gandhi wished him on his birthday and sent a message expressing condolences over the passing of Randhir Singh. Captain Amarinder also stated that no BJP leader had expressed condolences over his brother’s death.

On August 6th, a boy questioned Rahul Gandhi about his favorite leader in the BJP. Rahul Gandhi named Amarinder Singh and praised him. Amarinder Singh was a member of the Congress party for a long time before joining the BJP, and even served as Chief Minister of Punjab.

Rahul’s Favorite Leader Amarinder Singh

When a person on Instagram asked Rahul Gandhi who his favorite leader in the BJP was, Rahul Gandhi said, “My favorite leader in the BJP is Captain Amarinder Singh. I’ve worked with him before. He’s very cool. He’s well-versed in military history. That’s why I like him a lot.” At the end of the video, Rahul Gandhi said, “Hello, Uncle Amarinder.”

Amarinder Singh was with the Congress

Amarinder Singh joined the Congress Party in 1998. Subsequently, the Congress Party appointed him state president in 1999. In 2002, the party won the Punjab Assembly elections, where Captain Amarinder Singh was elected Chief Minister. Captain Amarinder Singh has served three times as Chief Minister of Punjab.

In 2021, the Congress removed him from the post of Chief Minister. Angered by this, Captain Amarinder resigned from the Congress party just two months later. He subsequently formed a new party, the Punjab Lok Congress. On September 19, 2022, he merged this party with the BJP and joined it.
