Noida: A new project is underway to further improve traffic flow in Noida. The Noida Authority has decided to construct new entry and exit loops (ramps) on the Banghel Elevated Road . The project, estimated to cost ₹51.84 crore (approximately $518.4 million), aims to improve connectivity to surrounding sectors and reduce daily traffic congestion.
People from more than 10 sectors will get benefits
Currently, many people traveling on the Bhangel Elevated Road don’t have direct access to the elevated road, forcing them to take a long detour. With the new loop, residents of more than 10 surrounding sectors, including Sectors 49, 50, 51, 76, 77, 78, 79, 100, 101, and 107, will have better connectivity. This will save local residents time and make travel easier.
Four loops will be built at Sector 49-107 intersection.
The Noida Authority will construct four new loops on the elevated road near the Sector 49-107 intersection . These will allow motorists to easily access and disembark the elevated road. Each loop will be approximately 7.5 meters wide and 500 meters long . Construction on the project is expected to begin in August 2026 and is targeted for completion by 2028.
Relief from traffic jams
Even after the construction of the Bhangel Elevated Road, residents were facing difficulties due to lack of connectivity in many surrounding areas. The new loop will provide direct access for local traffic and reduce traffic congestion on main roads. This is expected to provide relief from traffic jams for thousands of daily commuters.
Noida’s infrastructure will be strengthened
The Noida Authority is continuously working to improve the city’s road and transportation system. These new loops being constructed on the Bhangel Elevated Road are part of that plan. Improved connectivity will not only provide convenience to local residents but will also make commuting within the city much smoother than before.
