Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has responded to Rishabh Pant’s plea seeking land in the state, praising the cricketer as the “pride of Uttarakhand.” Dhami said Pant’s desire to return and contribute to his motherland is commendable. He added that concerned officials have been instructed to contact Pant and provide all possible assistance in accordance with existing rules.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has responded to Rishabh Pant’s plea for land in the state, assuring the Indian wicketkeeper-batter of the government’s support. Dhami took to X to acknowledge Pant’s contribution to Uttarakhand and said officials have been instructed to look into the matter.
“Dear Rishabh, you are the pride of Uttarakhand. With your splendid performance and achievements, you have illuminated the name of Devbhoomi in the country and the world,” Dhami wrote. He further praised Pant’s connection with his home state and his desire to return and contribute to its development.
“Your love for your motherland and your sentiment of returning here to contribute are highly commendable,” the Chief Minister added. Dhami was responding to Pant’s recent request regarding land in Uttarakhand, where the cricketer revealed that he has been trying to acquire land in the state for a long time.
Addressing Pant’s request directly, Dhami said that the government has initiated the process. “Regarding the matter you have raised, instructions are being issued to the concerned officials. They will soon contact you and ensure all possible cooperation in accordance with the rules,” he said.
