Bengaluru-based start-up E3 Electric.AI has made a splash in the Indian two-wheeler market. The company has launched its first AI-powered electric scooter, the E3 Trion, in the Indian market. Predictive intelligence, modular battery options and advanced connected features are the key features of this scooter. Pre-bookings have started in Bengaluru on the company’s official website and it will soon be available in other cities.
Variants and Prices
The E3 Trion electric scooter is available in three different variants:
C1 (base variant): ₹99,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru)
C1x (mid variant): ₹1,10,000 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru)
C2 (top variant): ₹1,20,000 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru)
The company is also offering an extended warranty of 8 years or 1 lakh kilometers on this scooter, which gives customers a great guarantee of safety.

AI technology and ‘TripSense’ cockpit
The biggest feature of this scooter is its artificial intelligence. This scooter works on the company’s E3 Command Center platform and cloud-based intelligence.
AI HealthScan: This system checks the entire vehicle in just 10 seconds.
Predictive Service: This system provides information about any malfunctions in the scooter before they occur, thus avoiding breakdowns in the long run.
Over 100 connected features: These include a smart trip planner (with charging station navigation), live vehicle tracking, remote battery monitoring, dashcam, geo-fencing and SOS assistance.
TripSense Cockpit: It features a 5-inch display that easily connects to a smartphone.
Performance, range and battery options
The E3 Trion uses a ‘Tri axis frame’ modular architecture, which supports both fixed and removable batteries.
C1 variant: It has a removable 2.3 kWh LFP battery, which can be easily charged at home, office or charging station.
C1x and C2 variants: It has a fixed 3 kWh LFP battery for longer range. The C1x model offers a range of up to 165 km on a single charge.
Top Speed and Speedometer: The C2 model offers three drive modes: Eco, Power and Sport. This model accelerates from 0 to 40 kmph in just 6 seconds and has a top speed of 82 kmph. It features a high-efficiency PMSM hub motor and a ‘Rotoring’ detachable rim system for easy servicing.

Design, comfortable ride and safety
Space and storage: With a design inspired by the ‘Mars Rover’, this scooter offers a whopping 52 litres of storage space including the under-seat space, floorboard and glove box.
Wheels and Lighting: It features 14-inch wheels on both sides, dual projector LED headlamps and LED tail lamps.
Safety: The scooter’s electrical system comes with an IP67 water-proof rating. It also features a voltage protection system that is equivalent to 6 airbags.
Colors and Accessories: This scooter is available in 6 attractive colors – Solar Red, Misty Green, Graphite Grey, Nova Blue, Teal Blue and Luna White. Additional accessories include a backrest, helmet, phone holder and ladies footrest.
