In an interview, Govinda revealed that before the filming began, Salman Khan was going through a very difficult and painful phase in his life. At that time, Salman was feeling very isolated and depressed. Like a good friend, Govinda stepped forward and consoled Salman and advised him to focus on himself. In an interview with ANI, Govinda said, “At that time, I weighed 114 kg. This was the time when I had just come out of politics. I told him, ‘By the time I lose weight, I’ll be a character actor, right? I’ll keep doing the kind of roles I did in ‘Partner,’ I’ll keep doing comedy.” I told him, “You’re a hero, but right now you don’t look like a hero.
